CRIME ANALYSIS
The Miramar Police Department has two crime analysts who are responsible for identifying and analyzing the methods of operation of individual criminals, providing crime pattern recognition and providing analyses of data from field interrogations and arrests. This information raises organizational performance and individual effectiveness through the implementation of information based policing to reduce crime problems, allocation of resources and community policing initiatives.
