The Miramar Police Department and Vice Mayor Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis will once again partner on a gun buyback program, Guns for Funds, that will allow for individuals to safely dispose of their unwanted guns.
Guns for Funds is 100% anonymous. Individuals can receive up to a $100 gift card for each handgun; up to a $150 gift card for each semi-automatic rifle / shotgun; and up to a $200 gift card for each rifle. All guns brought to the events must be unloaded and placed in the trunk of a vehicle. No identification is necessary.
Hundreds of unwanted firearms have been collected in the last five years alone. Dispose of your unwanted guns safely before they get into the wrong hands!
