Effective October 1, 2013, the Trash Transfer and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) drop-off stations in West Park, Pompano Beach and Davie are no longer available to Miramar residents. In its place, the City of Miramar, in partnership with our collection hauler Waste Pro, and Disposal Contractor Sun Bergeron J.V., established Annual and Monthly Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronics Waste (E-Waste) drop-off events.

These multiple events are open to City of Miramar residents free of charge with proof of residency (driver’s license and utility bill). Enjoy convenient drive-thru service, where on-site staff will unload your materials; you are requested to remain in your vehicle at all times.

We ask that you keep the hazardous waste products in their original containers, or to label them clearly. All lids must be sealed tightly to prevent any leakage. Please view the image below for more details for the monthly drop-off events.
