WELCOME TO PARKS AND RECREATION
Miramar Parks and Recreation provides welcoming and safe parks and facilities to play, learn, enhance the economic vibrancy, and promote responsible care of our lands and greenspaces. We strive to promote healthy people, a healthy and active environment, and build strong community relations. We recognize, understand, and celebrate the vitality and diversity of our City.
Miramar has 40 parks and recreation facilities that include a state of the art track and field stadium, an amphitheater, a bandshell, both lap and activity pools, and splash pads. We have several tennis, basketball, racquetball, and netball courts. We have several football/soccer, cricket, and baseball fields. There are fitness centers, playgrounds, and lakefront parks with fishing docks to be enjoyed. We are home to concerts, local and national sporting events, and cultural festivals.
To provide a wide variety of services, recreational activities and special events for youths, adults, and senior residents to enhance the quality of life for Miramar residents.
